Vintage Hand Painted Porcelain Trinket Box Limoges France Bird on Branch Artist Signed No Reserve Sweet little vintage porcelain trinket box from local estate. This is white porcelain with a hinged top and brass or gold colored metal trim. T are no cracks or chips but the lid does not close tight. The top has a colorful painted bird in branches with flowers and it is decorated inside and out front and back. T is a little gold leaf inside the lid and another painted inside on the bottom, sides and back are painted with green leaves. This sweet little box measures about 2 5/8" wide and 2 1/4" across the back, it is about 1 3/4" front to back and 1 1/4" deep or high with lid. The bottom is signed with artists initials with hand written Hand Decorated and marked Limoges France. No cracks or chips but the lid is ajar at this time and was not always like that but I did not want to force it. These are fun to collect and make a nice little gift box for Mothers day.
