A beautiful 1950s Hand Embroidered and Sewn hankie case in cream linen featuring green embroidered ' handkerchiefs' and little pink roses. The case has a lacey border on the flap. When you open it the treasure inside is incredible - 15 gorgeous old and well cared for hankies, 5 cotton and 10 pure silk. A mixture of colours and designs feature, from bold orange flowers to tartans to pale pink lace edged hankies. The case measures 7.5 inches across and 7 inches high. The hankies range from large to small. All are in good clean condition. What a treasure from granny's chest of drawers!
