The person who gave this to me said it was 65 to 70 years old. This hand made quilt has one large piece of fabric with beautiful roses in dark pink to light pink on each rose. The stem and leaves are green. T are some small flowers and t through out the quilt in yellow color. This is hand sewn. The back is solid pink. The tying is done with a light pink yarn. The quilt is old but has never been used. The bating in the middle is wool and will make the quilt very warm. It measures 89" in length and 71" wide. It is in excellent condition and sewn well. All proceeds of this sale will benefit Friendship House, a Hamtramck, MI based non profit that provides food, rent and utility assistance to the poor.
