This lovely old quilt measures approx. 96 inches by 98 inches. It is in very pretty in soft white with lots of triangles in various colors that form large stars. The actual star after formation measures about 14 inches in height and width. It has a pretty soft white backing. The flowers are in a variety of soft gingham colors so it will go with any decor'. It has litterally thousands of tiny handstitches thru out the the quilt and has great detail. It is in very nice condition and a nice size. Will be great for the cold fall days that will soon be I have tried to include closeups so the detail work can be seen. It is handstitched with approx. 7 or 8 stitches per inch on the top. It is a great addition to any home for us or for display. It is in such nice condition and is very clean with no stains or repaired area's that I can find, pictures do not do justice to this pretty, pretty old quilt. it would also make an excellant gift for someone for the upcoming Holidays.If you are a collector don't let this one get away. It is a great treasure for anyone to have. Coming from a local estate auction it was said to have been purchased in Amish country up around Plain City and has been used for display only, Ohio.
