Thanks for visiting Starline Instruments On sale for you today we have this vintage Harmony Archtop acoustic guitar Model no H972 - Ridgeway This model was made from 1940 - 1943 Made in USA Chicago length = 103 cm Birch constructionblack to golden orange yellow sunburst finishstencilled fret markers14 frets to the bodyGreat vintage Archtop collectable and very playable with a great set upThis has had a pretty tough life and has been saved from extinction - the main problem was the top being badly damagedbut I felt it was worth saving I am pleased to say it has been fully restored back to very good health.The top has been painstakingly repaired and all is solid with all internal braces reglued and secured there is one area on the top near bottom rightwhere I have had to replace some wood (with matching birch and finish) It has also had a neck re-set so you can be assured that the neck joint is solid and in the correct position resulting in a great low action and no buzzing all the way up the neck new nut / new handmade ebony compensated bridgenew replacement scratchplate the tuners don't look to be original but came with guitar (look to be 50's / 60's hamony type rather than 40's) one of the tuners is slightly bent but it hasn't effected tuning.original wooden tailpiece I kept the original frets but it could be refretted at an extra
