Well I'm back! A little break from listing and I've got my vim and vigor going again! So much to list. Be sure to keep checking for all the different vintage costume jewelry and such that will be listed! Now to business. This is a gorgeous mannequin head / bust of a very lovely lady! It is part of the inventory from a closed jewelry shop that used to be located in downtown Knoxville, TN. The store was opened in the 1940's until the mid 1960's. The store owner lost her lease and packed all her stock away with the hopes of reopening elsew It never happened and all the stock had been in storage until July of 2006! This beauty has light brown styled hair that reminds me of how the women wore it in the 1940's. She has brilliant blue eyes, detailed lashes, and lipstick on her lips. She is 13" tall and 5 1/2" wide from shoulder to shoulder. I guess she was used on the counter to display the previous owners jewelry in her store. At some point her ears were drilled for pierced ears.... doesn't look like they were like that originally. T are a few places w the outside material is cracking.... I added some photos. No identifying marks of a maker. Impressive condition for her age, not perfect, but definitely not shabby. Reminds me of those classy dames in Hollywood movies. She is just mesmerizing!
