VINTAGE Hobe Gold Tone Filigree Clasps Lot of 10 ______________________________________________________________________________________ Lot of 10 Hobe vintage gold tone filigree necklace clasps - beautiful unique detailed design. Each clasp is complete with 5 small rings on each side - sturdy and definitely made to last! Works of art!Each measures 7/8" high x about 1/2" wide including the little rings.These pieces have not been cleaned - natural patina.They were purchased from the closing Hobe factory inventory, but are not signed. ____________________________________________________________________________________ About 10 years ago, my client, always interested in beautiful costume jewelry and Hobe, in particular, decided to write a book on the history of Hobe because there really wasn't too much information out there. She started researching and buying all the Hobe that she could. The original, family run Hobe company stopped producing jewelry in the early 1990's and my client, dealing with William Hobe's Son Donald's wife, was able to buy a great deal of findings and jewelry at the factory at the time it closed. Well, life got in the way and my client never wrote the book as her adventures took her in a whole new direction, so she has decided to sell some of her collection, which I have started to list for sale here, in the
