Vintage HOFFRITZ open tooth travel safety razor, in its original box with one "Marlin" razor blade Long heralded as the hallmark in quality and precision, Hoffritz of Germany once produced some of the world's finest razors. Included in this was the Hoffritz open tooth travel razor, a three-part assembled shaving razor that came in its own unique silverplate case. This Hoffritz is a Chrome Finished, three piece (including a two piece razor head), Travel Sized Safety Razor manufactured in Solingen, Germany by Hoffritz Manufacturing. Currently part of Lifetime Brands, this company was listed as a top Favorite among wet shavers around the World. This razor includes one "Marlin" (U.S.) High Speed Razor with it. The vest pocket case measures 2 inches square and is 3/4 of an inch thick. Fully assembled, the 3-part razor is 3 inches long and the head is 1 5/8 inches wide. In the box, it weighs 3 ounces. Overall, this razor is in very good condition. It shows some wear (scratches and oxidation) on the front and back of the silverplate case.
