Vintage Hofner Neck with classic 60s Fret Design and tuners Hofner neck, used and marked for cataloguing reasons. Looks like the decal has been removed. If you catch it in the right light, you can see where someone has done some light sanding. Neck comes with tuners, that appear to date from the 60's although this can not be confirmed beyond all reasonable doubt. Frets are a little worn. The back has got a few dings and scratches. Takes on the classic fretboard design, unique to Hofner guitars. Hofner is a German manufacturer of musical instruments that manufactures guitars and basses, as well as other string instruments. Much of Höfner's popularity is attributed to Paul McCartney's use of the Höfner 500/1 bass throughout his career. This violin-shaped model is commonly referred to as the "Beatle bass."
