Vintage HOLLYWOOD HAWAIIAN HOTEL KEY (Radiator Key, Clock Key, Drum Key?)Offered is an old rusty key marked Hollywood Hawaiian. It may have been a heater key or possibly a key to a pantry.Years ago in an old sewing box I found a rusty key marked Hollywood Hawaiian. I tossed it back in the box and there it sat for another 20 or so years. Recently I learned there was a Hollywood Hawaiian Hotel located at the corner of Grace and Yucca. The hotel is no longer there, but it had a storied past, most of which can't be proven. It apparently was the subject of a song of the 1970's.The key looks more like a clock or skate key or a heater or radiator key than a hotel door key. It is old and rusty. It's a curiosity.The top with the name is about 2 inches across. (Hollywood is on one side and Hawaiian is on the other.) It is about 1 " inches tall.I can't attest to its authenticity or its actual function. I don't even know if it's complete.
