Greetings from Scotty the Treasure Hunter! Another very nice Triang/Hornby collection has come in and I am very much looking forward to bringing them to you:) This is a beauty! It is a vintage Hornby Dublo OO/HO Scale 3-Rail Duchess of Montrose Steam Locomotive Set. The Loco is a 4-6-2 and when I tested it I was very pleased to see it run perfectly! Smooth and strong and well controlled at all speeds. The Loco and Tender comes in a Set which also includes 2 Passenger Cars, 2 D-1 Switches, 2 Turnouts, 8 Long Curved Track Sections, 1 Long Straight Track Section, 2 Short Curves, 1 Short Straight, 1 short Straight feeder section (1 of the long curves is also a feeder), a Re-railer and a De-railer! The Train is in excellent condition with no broken or missing parts and runs well. The finish is also excellent with slight wear. The Track is also all in excellent condition as are the switches. The Set comes in the original box which is in very poor condition. The base of the box is complete with all inserts but numerpus tape repairs. The top of the box is missing all of the sides and is taped to the box base to serve as a cover.
