Being offered for auction is a Fine Vintage "Golden Dawn", All Wool, Luxury Quality Blanket, Loomed to Special Specifications, and marketed by the J. C. Penny Co., Inc.(information specified on the blanket label. Please refer to photos). The blanket measures approx. 74" X 80". In the photos it is displayed first on our staircase, but I had to fold it in order to get the shot. The photo showing the blanket in it's entirety is displayed on our King-sized bed. This blanket would probably fit a full or double quite nicely. The end stitching(top & bottom) is complete with no breaks or loose stitches(a close-up example is shown in the photos). There are a few very small spots and what I refer to as a smudge. I've shown an example of one of the few spots and the smudge in a couple of photos in relation to the size of a dime. The label stitching is loose on one corner. This is anything but skimpy when it comes to blanket thickness. The type of blanket one would like on a cold winter's night. All-in-all, a vintage, good quality, warm wool blanket that is easily recognized with it's "Northwoods Look" that displays well, and is very functional if that is what you're looking for.
