I was fortunate to acquire some really lovely and unusual jewelry from a local estate sale and plan to list them in the next few weeks. Some of the jewelry is modernist, all are vintage, some are just beautiful. Many of the pieces are signed. This auction is for the most beautiful brooch I have ever acquired. I took most of my pictures outdoors to show the real beauty in natural light. My last three pictures were taken indoors. This will be hard to describe. The top brooch part features a large oval purple glass cab both bezel and prong set. T are eight dangles strung on wire consisting of glass beads, aurora borealis crystals, art glass, glass bead seperators, silvertone metal beads, some have lovely silvertone filagree end caps and natural polished stones. Beautiful workmanship and very unusual. The back of the brooch is signed ETTA. The clasp is signed Pat 2066969. The clasp is secure and works fine. From top to bottom measuring 5 1/2 inches. The brooch part measures 1 3/4 by 1 1/2. The large purple glass cab measures 1 1/4 by 3/4 inch. I don't know its age or metal type. It has hints of goldtone and a pewter look. In excellant vintage condition showing only light wear. It will come to your home carefully gift boxed t o give as a gift or to keep for your own.
