I am helping my mother to liquidate her extensive collection of vintage original Hull Pottery and will be listing several pieces at a time until it is all gone. I'm excited to offer these to you with low opening bids and NO RESERVE!!! This is a spectacular signed piece from Hull Pottery, a Wild Flower pattern No. 61 6 1/4" Vase. The number series of Wildflower is older than the 'W' series, and was manufactured in the early '40's. This is a particularly lovely one as the colors are gorgeous, the flower pattern especially exquisite, and the shape of the vase strikingly graceful and elegant. This two-handled vase measures approximately 6.25" tall, 5" wide across the widest part, and 3.25" across the base. The bottom has raised markings "Hull Art, 61 - 6 1/4 U.S.A. ." T is a '4' scratched into the bottom, probably identifying the artist who did the hand painting. It is in beautiful condition.
