HUMMEL FLOWER MADONNA This glorious piece radiates serenity and peace. The colors are magnificent - the gestures are graceful. The Madonna, cloaked in a long blue robe tenderly holds the Child - a songbird is perched on the open book in her lap. She holds a tiny flower which engages the Child. ************** This HUMMEL is in excellent vintage condition - no cracks or repairs - very minor surface issues, if any (crazing) - clean & well- maintained. The 9-1/4" size of this early vintage piece does not show up very often in such great condition. 8-1/4"H by 5-1/2"W // Mold number 10-1 Trademark is the blue "Full Bee" (stamped, not incised). This is mark TMK #3 which was used from 19560 - 1972. The bottom is also marked "W Germany".
