On offer is this Vintage (maker unknown) Humming Bird Figurine which is in excellent condition apart from the tip of one of the leaves has been broken off at some time in the past,this can be seen at 10 oclock in picture and is hardly noticeable,it also has to be pointed out that the flower is "bisque" and not glazed as is the rest of the figurine.The figurine was taken to The Alexander Palace Antiques Fair for appraisal a while ago but not one dealer could identify the makers mark but all dated it to C1910s and probably German or Austrian (I will stand corrected if this information is wrong).The approximate size of the humming bird is 6 1/2 inches high,6 inches wide and must surely be worth the starting price of £4.99 with no reserve?. Potential overseas bidders are advised to enquire about postal costs because UK packages sent abroad are really expensive. I regret that all packages will now be sent either by Special Delivery or First or Second Class Mail with recorded delivery being mandatory,or Parcel Force 48 for larger items,any overseas shipping will be sent by Royal Mail Airsure or an equivalent service.This has been brought about by Paypal`s insistence on a tracking number should an item "go missing" in the post and compensation sought.
