Nice vintage ice cream scoop, it's made well { see photos} with the lever that you push in with your thumb when you scoop the ice cream up and also to get it loose from the scoop and put it in your bowl. It has a red catalin bakelite plastic { not rubber } handle that's ribbed for no slip and good grip. Also, the piece of aluminum that sticks out can turn from one side to the other, for using either your left or for right hand. It's in nice condition with very little wear, no chips on the bakelite, just some light scratches to the fairly heavy scoop, actually the ice cream scoop is fairly heavy, its not a flimsy one. It's made to last. it's about 8 1/2" in L. and scoop is about 2 1/2" in dia. Please see our other auctions for more interesting items and save on combined shipping.
