I have recently been fortunate enough to buy a lot of vintage framesthat were stored in a basement for a very long time. T were alltypes of vintage eyeglass goodies in this lot that I purchased, and I will be painstakingly going through them and putting them up little by little. Almost all of the things that were t were from the 50's and 60's. Many of them don’t have the company that they originated from, but does have the country of origin. I’ll do my best to describe them.This frame is the classic Berkeley model from Imperial Optical. Imperial made a lot of those classic frames from the 50's and 60's. The color is like a brownwood, with the temples almost black . The size is marked 44/20. The temples are stamped Imperial (in script) 5 1/2 USA. These frames have never been worn, or had lenses installed and are new old stock. They can be made to hold your prescription or sunglass lenses at any local optical store. w they can adjust them to fit as best possible. The measurements are hinge to hinge 4 5/8". End to end 5". Inside lens top to bottom 32mm. Frame top to bottom 1 1/2". Temple length 5 1/2".As with all vintage eyewear, they are sold as is. T are no returns or exchanges on this item, specifically if they are purchased and don't look well on or don't fit.
