Description: The item listed above is a beautiful and large white enamel hanging lamp with a fully intact cast Benjamin socket and brass hanging ring. There is an old steel lock ring where I assume a bulb cage or globe once was. I don't know exactly how old this light is, but from the socket I'm guessing 1915-1930. This light would really look great as a light above a table or in a kitchen. Condition: This lamp is in good condition, with a fair amount of wear at the edges and the according vintage aesthetic. After getting the lamp I completely deep cleaned every detail of it including disassembling and cleaning the socket removing the old wire, lightly oiling all metal parts, and using rust cleaner and preventatives on all places where the enamel was chipped. The enamel shines brilliantly all around the lamp, the only exception being the places it is chipped. The socket can be removed with a good counterclockwise turn exposing the posts for rewiring which it will of course need when you decide where you want to put it. Size: The lamp has a 20" diameter at the base of the shade and is approx. 15" from the base to the top. Returns: I will gladly accept returns if you aren't satisfied and feel the item didn't match the description or if it has any unforeseen mechanical issue. In any instance you have a concern or are not satisfied read more
