Wonderful large industrial clock made by Smiths English Clock Systems, London. Steel case and face, c1920s. Dimensions: face 61cm square, outer casing 70cm square. The housing for the clock's mechanism is mounted on the back of the clock and I imagine it would originally have fitted into a wall recess. Needs glass for the face. Presumably the movement is an old slave mechanism which is typical of factory clocks, and so would need a new mains mechanism (a simple job for for someone who knows what they're doing!) Can be posted nationwide for £20 or collected form Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire.
