This is a wonderful old vintage gooseneck desk lamp. I am sure it has many stories to tell. It is a nice size not too big. The picture of the base looks blue but it is the same color as the rest of the lamp... it was the lighting from the window. It measures if you stretch the neck all the way up 21 inches. The lamp shade part measures 8 inches wide and 4 1/4 inches deep. It takes a standard bulb and the one in it now works 3 ways... nice. The diameter of the base is 5 3/4 inches. I think the age is probably 40's maybe earlier. I can find no makers name on it. Condition is vintage used....The flexible part of the neck is 9 inches long. The power cord comes out the lower stem not under the lamp. The bottom is heavy, not easily tipped over. Let me know if you have questions. Thanks for looking.
