This No Reserve auction is for a beautiful PAIR of antique Italian Florentine wooden bookends depicting an Italian lady or Madonna -- I am not sure if this is a Botticelli sketch (could be Lippi or DaVinci). Made in Italy with embossed gesso and gold leaf paint. Florentia craft is hand made/painted by Italian artisans and highly collectible. Each book end measures 6 1/2" tall x 4 3/4" across x 3 3/4" deep. Excellent condition with no problems and minimal wear due to age, mostly around the edges; each bookend retains its original FLORENTIA paper sticker affixed to the underside. They are a nice decorative item suited to a sophisticated setting or library. A wonderful gift for someone who is a book lover! We accept paypal, money orders, and personal checks.
