This is a group of three (3) lovely table squares with finely woven linen centers and borders of Italian BURATO lace from the 20th century. These cloths have a pattern that's stylized since they are needlewoven over a square gird woven background with two threads that are twisted to hold a perpendicular thread. They measure: 13" x 12.5" with a stylized floral and snowflake pattern, cream color, and a zigzag edge ~ photo 3 23" x 21" with a half wreath design, is cream colored, and has a scalloped hem ~ photo 2 34" x 34" with a winged dragon design, scalloped hem, and is snow white ~ photo 1 Freshly washed to be sparkling clean, lightly starched to lay flat, and so perfectly pressed.
