Nice Vintage Ivory Letter Opener - 3 Day auction This is a really nice vintage or antique? ivory letter opener. One piece, pretty heavy. Carved at the top to look an Egyptian or African King or Queen with a headress? Not sure, but the carving is of a bust on a pedestal. Measures 10 5/8" length, and 1.5" at widest point. Tip is pretty sharp and would open a letter for you with ease. Nice vintage piece for those of you that collect letter openers. I have no idea of the value of this item, the type of ivory or its exact age so I will start the bidding at $1 and do a short 3 day auction so someone might get a deal!
