We bought a complete clock repair shopand sold a few items previously on eBay. We now have time and willbe listing another very large variety of items for parts or repair. No guarantee as to age or working condition, but will do the best we can to describe the items that we do know about. All items will be sold "as is" unless we state otherwise and we will not be cleaning any of them. We will combine multiple items for shipping, so put us on your favorite watch list as we will try to list something different each week. You are bidding on: Vintage Japan Large Elgin Quartz Anniversary Clock & Dome Runs This clock measures 13 3/4" to the top of the glass dome and 6 3/8" across the inside of the glass dome and the height of the inside of the glass dome is 11 5/8" and it has a molded edge on the bottom of the glass dome. This dome is in excellent shape. It has a plastic case that is 8 3/4" across the base. The base has leveling feet and they are all good. The plastic dial is 4 5/8" across and is marked Elgin Magic Eye. This complete clock is nice and clean and is in running condition. The movement is marked on the back H with a black button and S with a red button, Quartz under that, Japan, pat. p., on the other side it is marked Min., Max. volume with a control knob and t is an opening for the battery. T is also a hang tag on the column on the front that says Elgin Quartz, full quarter hour Westminster chime, Japan. The pendulum is all plastic. This is a quality made quartz clock and very attractive looking. The tone is excellent. It will need adjusting to the right time. I did not do anything with this part of it. I just put a battery in it and as soon as I leveled it, it took right off and has been running and striking for 2 days. It just sounds throughout the house like a big expensive clock.Because this clock has the dome each piece will have to be packed separately and it will take a box that is 11"x11"x16". At this rate this does not cover all of our costs but we do it this way to help and we hope that it averages out as some shipments cost us 50 cents and other cost us up to $5. All shipments are estimated as to weight at the time of listing and when we get them packed and shipped, sometimes we find t is a difference, if it is more than $1 we refund, as we are not in the business to make money off of shipping.
