Hello and welcome to our auction!Up for bid today is a vintage mini combination mannequin pin cushion, tape measure and thimble holder made in Japan. It includes the blue and white paper label stating, "Made in Japan" on the felt bottom.This item is in excellent condition without any major damage or missing pieces that we can find.The red felt of the mannequin is intact without wear, the wood post that seats the mannequin on the metal base and the base itself are also damage free.The only point of wear to mention is w the fabric tape measure attaches to the metal pull at the beginning of the tape. Approximately half of it is detached from the metal grip. We've taken care to include a closeup to best illustrate what we're describing. This is typical wear of an aged fabric tape measure and we're sure this metal piece can be pried open and more of the intact tape can be "pinched" inside to make it stronger; however, we don't like to alter our items. We always feel that decision should belong to the new owner.This pin cushion measures approximately 5 7/8" tall, including the thimble, and 2 1/8" across the base.This detailed replica of the real thing would be a fantastic cross-collectible addition to your vintage figural pin cushion, tape measure and sewing items collection!Please see the pictures for details.We invite you to visit our read more
