Welcome to this listing of a Vintage Japanese Black Lacquer Chokin Music Jewelry Trinket Box. This music box features a circular chokin inset of a swan with water and reeds. The circle is 3" in diameter. The music box itself is footed, and measures 6" long x 4" wide x 2 3/4" tall. On the bottom there is a key turn to wind the music box which has a Sankyo music movement. It plays the tune "Music Box Dancer." Music plays very well when the box is opened. Music turns off when the lid closes. Inside, there is a mirror on the lid measuring 4" long x 2" wide. The bottom of the box is lined in red velvet. It is marked on the bottom of the base with a sticker which says Japan. Originally owned by our Granny, this piece was never displayed. Granny took her treasures out occaisonally to admire them, and she loved music boxes. Payment by Paypal only please. Continental US shipping only. Shipping and handling includes insurance.
