Vintage Jean Axatard Colored Print Titled – River Scene, Brass Frame This auction is for a beautiful Vintage Jean Axatard Colored Print Titled River Scene. SUBJECT: People picnicking and boating along a river with a village in the background. TITLE: River Scene. FRAME SIZE: The frame measures 10 1/8” (25.7 cm) X 8 1/8” (20.6 cm). PRINT SIZE: The print measures 5 7/8” (14.9 cm) X 4 3/4” (12.1 cm). SIGNITURE: AXATARD. MARKS: The lower right hand corner of the print is marked AXATARD, the back of the print has a label with the artist’s name misspelled (see photos). PRINT NUMBER: Unknown. DATE: Unknown – Probably 1970’s. FRAME: Vintage Brass Frame. CONDITION: I believe this beautiful Jean Axatard colored print is in Good to Very Good vintage condition for its age.
