This is a vintage sewing machine made for the John Wanamaker Company inNew York and Philadelphia. It is marked Made in the USA. Made of heavy cast metal. Appears to be in good condition. Belt driven and the pulley moves the stitch arm freely. It has a "Stitch to Inch" adjustment and a guide engraved in the deck plate. Also a "Wanamaker Automatic" medallion in the front of the base. It stands 9 inches tall, and 10.5 inches wide and 6 inches deep. That's pretty much all I know about it, except to say this was part of my moms collection of sewing items.
