Let me start off with letting everyone know that I am no expert when it comes to telephones. This one was found covered with dust in an older garage in Western Arizona and the only date I can find on it is "1915", see pictures. I have wiped it down somewhat and will try to describe what I see to the best of my ability. First of all, this phone appears to be in very good condition and the wood looks like oak, possibly tiger oak. The main piece of wood for wall mounting shows a crack in the center from top to about 6 inches down and from the bottom to about 6 inches up. The mounting board is still stable and not split apart totally. T are 4 mounting holes on the main piece of wood with brass shims to reinforce the holes, 2 of these brass shims are missing. The receiver hook has a brass plate w it attaches to the wood body with 4 brass screws, 1 screw is missing (easy to replace). The mouth piece has 4 very small screws w the black plastic or composite mouth piece meets the metal, 2 of these screws are missing (another easy fix). T is a small crank that was hanging on a hook on the right side of the wooden phone box, it looks like it is for this phone, but I cannot get it to fit onto the shaft that is coming out of the phone box, it may be the wrong size, but it looks like the same vintage.
