This is a rare opportunity to buy a complete vintage collection of Ken Edwards Tonala dinnerware. This is our own family collection and has been gently used only a handful of times. It has been stored in our smoke-free home for 33 years and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Service for 6 includes: 6 - 10 inch Dinner Plates 6- 8 inch Salad Plates 6- 6 1/2 inch Desert Plate / Saucers 6- 6 inch wide 2 1/2 inches deep Soup / Cereal Bowl 6- 3 3/4 inch high approx. 3 inches diameter Coffee / Tea Mugs These are handmade and each piece is hand painted so no two are alike. Each piece has Ken Edwards "KE" initials and if another artist assisted in the painting, it was designated by their unique symbol of an insect, bird, fish, scorpion, mouse, or other animal. Ken Edwards moved from the US to Tonala , in Central Mexico in the 1960's, w he established himself as a pottery artisan. His stoneware is lead free, oven , microwave, and dishwasher safe.
