This is an older set of Konge Tinn Norwegian pewter flatware made in Norway which I rescued from an estate sale. The two pieces are either a serving spoon and matching fork or a salad set. These are ROYAL PEWTER HARDANGER BESTIKK. The fork is 8 1/2" long and 2 3/8" across the top area. The spoon has the same measurements. They are both thick and heavy and have unusual markings on the back side of Viking ships and Rune design writing that says "TINN PEWTER NORWAY" and a hallmark inside a diamond shaped logo. The design on each piece is traditional Norwegian scrolling and quite ornate in appearance done in high relief, featuring Viking King Heilag Olav who was later proclaimed a saint. Both pieces are in very GOOD used condition and I did not attempt to clean them. The spoon handle seems to be a bit bent when looked at from the side. Please look at the pictures closely as this is what you will be receiving. These come in the original box which has age and storage wear. I also have place setting and other pieces available on other auctions at this time. I will combine shipping if possible.I do whatever I can to reduce the cost of shipping. The amount listed here is simply an estimate and very seldom is it increased, and then only for real distance, weight of the package and insurance if necessary.
