This is a nice KOSUGE TIN LITHO BATTERY OPERATED 1950S FORD CONVERTIBLE CAR WITH DRIVER. The driver's head moves as the car moves. The car has a retractable yellow roof. The windshield is a tinted blue and is in great condition. The car has minor scratches and blemishes. It also has faded red paint on the lower portion of the driver's side of the car. The tin bumpers and trim are age tarnished. (REFER TO PHOTOS). T he car measures 9" in length. The car is not missing any pieces and has a round section on the bottom with wheels that must rotate, allowing the car to turn. It also has a small wheel that has a rod with a spring that moves, which allows the driver's head to turn. The two front wheels seem to be loose as they move side to side. The back wheels are fine, as are the other wheels. The car is marked "MADE IN JAPAN KOSUGE" on the bottom (on the battery cover section). UNFORTUNATELY, THE CAR DOES NOT RUN WHEN A BATTERY IS PUT IN. SEE PHOTOS FOR FURTHER DETAILS. The car is being sold as is, no return on this item. Please ask questions prior to bidding. Have fun bidding on this nice car! Thank you for looking at my auction.
