Finding these is like going back 50 to 60 years in a time capsule. This set of 4 canisters and the salt & pepper shakers and the lids are all t, all mint condition, no dents, no dings, no paint loss. In BRAND NEW AND NEVER USED condition. The second picture shows that they were still wrapped in some of the original tissue and are STILL IN THE ORIGINAL BOX. The set includes the flour, sugar, tea, and coffee canisters as well as the salt and pepper shakers. The best I could tell they hadn't even been out of the box until I took them out to take the picture. This is the kind of item that keeps me going to estate sales. An amazing find, hopefully just what you've been waiting and searching for. I am opening these at a very reasonable starting price of $40.00 with NO RESERVE - Let's have some fun - everybody can bid this way.I will rewrap all the items extra well and put all back in the original box then double box (with lots of padding) to make sure the successful buyer gets them in the same great shape they leave in. When I listed this item I believed it would be oversized after putting the original box into another box for protection. I have learned that it is not oversized, but because I have had a bid now, I am unable to go in and change it. E-bay suggested explaining the situation or closing the auction and starting over. T are several who are watching this auction so I hate to stop it and take a chance of losing their interest, so I need to explain that the shipping calculator will be higher than the actual shipping. You will not be paying as much shipping as the calculator will show! It is my understanding that I will be able to change the shipping at the close of the auction at check out, but not before.
