Up for auction is a neat old vintage 4 1/8 inch closed folding 1 blade Budding and Grafting Pocket Knife . The master blade is marked on three lines S. KUNDE arched over & SOHN over DRESDEN on the front tang with a P and their Pocket Knife K over Leaf Logo, Dresden Germany on the back tang. T is a very interesting article on this knife in the March 2008 Knife World under “WHUT IZZIT?” by Bernard Levine w he dates the knife to the 1930s . The master blade has been well sharpened with tiny vintage marks, 23 A 101/2 stamped on the front and very light closing snap. The handles are very nice Smooth Black Composition , with no chips or cracks but a tiny nick on the back. The heavy liners and five heavy pins are brass . This neat, super clean early 1900s Budding and Grafting Pocket Knife is a neat old piece of cutlery history and would make a great addition to any collection of knives.
