This Volume 7, Number 6 issue of "The Ladder" from March 1963 features lesbian editorial comment, essays, book listings and other related articles -- years before the advent of the Gay Rights Movement. This vintage, digest-size magazine is in excellent to very good condition; a real collector's item with no missing pages, no tears and virtually no spine wear, but negligible points lost for minor edge wear on the bottom edge of front cover and cover wear limited only to '7:6' written small in faint pencil in the upper left front cover corner and a checkmark, also in faint pencil, in the upper right front cover corner (see photo below).
