VINTAGE LADIES 9ct GOLD ROLEX WATCH This collectable vintage Rolex watch is in good condition for its age.The watch winds and the movement and hands working.When the crown is pulled to adjust the time the hands only move some of the time when the crown is turned.You can feel it slipping so a guess there is worn gearing which would need replaced.It is still possible to set the time, it just takes a little longer and would really be best looked at by a watch maker before using the watch.The watch case and case back are both stamped '9 .375'.The bracelet requires repair. It is 12ct Rolled Gold and has a link which is bent and missing the springs.The dial is in good order and marked 'Rolex Swiss Made'.The movement is marked 'Rolex 15 Jewels Swiss Made'. The inside the case back is marked 'R.W.C.Ltd Rolex 7World's Records Gold Medal Geneva - Swiss'.Also present is number '3889' and the date letter 'a'.The case measures approx. 25 mm by 25mm excluding the crown and the lugs.Watch and bracelet are approx. 160mm long unstretched.The watch comes with a period 'Wilson & Gill 139 Regent St. London' watch box which is intact but in worn condition.
