You are invited to bid on this glamorous vintage ladies mink fur stole c1940's - 1950's.This luxurious stole is made from soft honey brown coloured fur with brown satin textured lining. On either side of the the front collar there is a small gap (see 5th photo), sorry I'm not sure what the purpose of this is. The lining is decorated with a small floral sprig pattern detail and on the back collar is a loop to hang your stole from. It measures approx. 15" across the top of the shoulders by 30" across the widest measurement of the arms by 26" long at the front by 13" long at the back. It once belonged to my mother who said there was originally a label attached inside but this is now missing and so I can not tell you who it was made by.This stole is in good vintage condition with slight soiling. The mink is soft with a lovely sheen to the fur. There is some slight soiling/water mark to the lining (see photo 6) and a small area of the stitching is coming loose (see final photo). There some handstitching on the inside lining next to the small gaps on the front collar.
