This is a vintage Lafayette microscope and 2 boxes of prepared slides. Recently purchased at an estate sale, I am unsure of their age. The microscope is constructed of heavy metal and it measures 8 1/4" tall. It is marked Lafayette 80X120X, 200X300X, 400X800X Japan. The wood box is marked Lafayette 80X-600X Model F 334 Made In Japan. The microscope seems to be in good working order but I can not get the light to work. The prepared slides are F-130 Life Cycle Of Insects and F-124 Spiders & Disease Carriers. Well made and reasonably priced, it is sure to please your favorite little scientist.
