Vintage Lance Glass Candy, Cookie, or Cracker Jar salvaged from the Casanova Country Store in Virginia when they closed in the early 1970's. The glass jar portion measures 8" high (including the lid), 7.5" wide, 8" deep, with a 7.5" diameter at the jar opening. It has a rectangle shaped body with a circular jar opening. The red lid is the original painted metal with "Lance" stamped on the inside. The painted label on the glass portion reads "From the House of LANCE" There are two Embossed "LANCE" labels in the bottom of the glass jar. The jar itself is in Excellent C ondition with absolutely no damage to the label/cracks etc. ------PLEASE NOTE-------- In the second and third photos you can see the DAMAGE to the Metal Lid. It is perfectly clean, but there has been damage to the metal itself. The red paint is still original.
