Up for auction is a vintage boxed gift set from Lancome. Based on a little online research, it appears this set was produced in France sometime around the 1930s. It comes in a beautiful and unusual gift box that flips open to reveal four miniature glass bottles with frosted glass stoppers. Stoppers have a nice crosshatch design on them. Bottles all feature intact gold foil labels and are approximately 2-1/2" tall. Fragrances are Conquete, Gardenia, Peut Etre and La Vallee Bleue. Bottles are in excellent condition - just need a little cleanup. Box is in very good condition with a few very, very minor discolorations. Pictures show front and back of box. This set even comes with what I think is a numbered certificate of authenticity (It's written in French so I'm not sure). Don't miss out on this great collectible.
