This auction is for a nice pair of large Brass and steel Trammel Points, they are marked with the name Geo.M Tower I am not sure if that was the maker or the previous owner. The are a nice large size and measure 9 inches tall. Trammel points score a precise cut out line with the sharp point of the rod. . When the circular knob is turned, it micro adjusts the radius of the circle. The spring locks the mechanism at the precise desired location. Turning clockwise decreases the radius while turning counterclockwise increases the radius slightly.
