DESCRIPTION OF ITEM: This is a really large vintage Italy pottery donkey and cart planter. It stands 8 inches high, is 12 inches from back to front, and about 5 1/2 inches wide at the cart. It's numbered 2379 on the bottom and says Italy and something that looks like an F with extra horizontal line (see photo). Beautiful donkey cart planter, big enough you could even put it outside on your patio. CONDITION: Overall good but he does have a number of small chips. T is a noticeable chip on his ear, about 1/2 inch by 1/4 inch. T is another chip on the right wheel at the top, about 1/4 by 1/8 inch, and 2 other smaller chips on that same wheel. T is a long chip at the left hoof w the gray meets the black about 3/4 inch by 1/4 inch, and another couple smaller chips on that same hoof in the black. Very small paint flake/chip on the other wheel, about 1/8 inch by 1/16 inch. Paint flake on rim of planter part about 1/4 inch long by 1/8 inch wide. Ignore the white spot on the cart directly behind the donkey, that's just price tag residue that I am sure will come off. Just in general, in the photos, if I am NOT pointing at something and you think you see something, it's a flash pop. I did not clean him and he could use a good bath.
