It has clear liquid with yellowwax, a black metal base and a plastic cap. The lamp stands 15 1/2” tall. The base and cap are in very good cosmetic condition with no dents, scratches or blemishes. The bottle shows some minor wear. Specifically, there are about a dozen tiny random nicks & scratches, but they're not noticeable - - they look like little pinhead stars when the lamp is lit. The heating coil resting at the base in the bottle seems to be the culprit (see PIC). They're not always visible, only appear randomly and I've never seen them any bigger than a millimeter. I've referred to them as sunspots over the years. The lamp as a whole is beautiful to watch with no shortage of vintage charm. I’m not the original owner, but rather purchased it locally off Craig’s List from another enthusiast several years ago. I have ran this lamp for several consecutive years (8 hours a day) read more
