This vintage pot is still a beautiful and shiny deep emerald green. I believe this is a rare discontinued color and that this size capacity is no longer being made. Too bad cause it's an awesome shade and a convenient size. This dutch oven was probably made shortly after LeCreuset merged with Cousances in 1957 because both names are embossed into the lid along with " France, 3 1/2 US and 3.4 L".POT : The pot is shiny outside with no cooked-on spills or drips, just a light scuff or small surface scratch here or there. I find no nicks or chips or rust. Inside the pot, however are utensil scratches and some dulling of the original sheen. There are a couple teeny tiny pin point dark dots on the side of the creamy color interior. They look like factory blemishes in the enamel/glaze. The green underside bottom has minor signs of use.LID: The gorgeous green exterior has a some light marring here or there, I think from storing it upside down over the pot. There is one 3/4" scratch (photo 8 ). These blemishes appear to be only on the surface, not all the way through the green layer. The knob is embossed "Cousances" and is securely attached. The underside of the lid is shiny with no nicks, chips or rust, even along the edge.This is a round dutch oven, marked 22 on both pieces. It measures approximately 9 1/8 inches in diameter (not including read more
