VINTAGE LEFTON PORCELAIN DACHSHUND DOG FIGURINE MADE IN JAPAN This wonderful Dachshund dog figurine is from my grandmother's personal collection. She raised Dachshunds, and loved and owned them throughout her life. Her collection has been carefully packed away for years, and it is my hope the beloved pieces in her collection find good homes with people who loved Dachshunds as much as she did! This nice porcelain Dachshund figure has a dark reddish tan back with a lighter colored chest, belly and nose . It measures approximately 4 inches in length and 3 1/2 inches in height. He is in a seated position. This puppy has a very sweet expression! The bottom is marked with the trademark Lefton's foil sticker. It was made in Japan. I estimate it dates to the 1950's. This piece is in excellent pre-owned condition with no cracks or significant wear. Since this item is pre-owned, please examine the photos carefully and feel free to ask questions prior to bidding.
