Offered for auction is a lovely VINTAGE PORCELAIN VASE PLANTER featuring a charming SOUTHERN BELLE LADY WOMAN in JADEITE GREEN, carrying a BOUQUET of PINK FLOWERS! The original paper label reads: "LEFTON" US patent off. Exclusive JAPAN and the numerals #1855 appear under the glaze on the bottom. Measures: 6" HIGH X 6" WIDE at the base X 3 1/2" DEEP. LEFTON'S quality and attention to detail are easily illustrated in this vintage beauty. Her shaded GREEN dress is accented with POLKA DOTS and billows out around the perimeter. The ruffled edge is repeated in the petitcoats, peeking out on the left side. Her matching wide brimmed hat, pale blond hair and nicely shaded facial features, combine with her demure pose to give a wonderfully graceful display. The VASE PLANTER is in EXCELLENT CONDITION. **I found only one tiny, tiny "flea bite" to an edge of a ruffle on the reverse side that is barely noticeable and in no way detracts from her usage of brilliant display. Clean shiny finish with no crazing. The interior is spotless and clean. Excellent addition to a collection and just the perfect accessory for a shabby, yet chic PINK ROSES and GREEN vintage inspired decor.
