You are considering a rare first edition vintage and discontinued LGB 20540 Christmas rain set. Released in 1990, this set includes an engine and 2 passenger cars (one is red and the other is white). The engine and one of the passenger cars have working lights (the other is not equipped for lights). The starter set includes 12 pieces of curved track which makes about a 4x4 circle and a transformer. The original Santa, Snowman, Angel, and Stocking ornaments are included in the set which is quite rare.Basically, everything is here except the instruction page -- really easy and intuitive to set up. The set is no longer available and is expandable (these box sets are usually considered starter sets).It's worth noting that the 1990 Christmas set is the first one produced and the only one to show the LGB logos on the coach doors -- thanks to a fellow eBay'er for sharing that factoid.The set can be used indoors or outdoors (we only used it indoors)This LGB 20540 Christmas train set is in excellent or better overall condition. I am not sure what constitutes Mint or even Like New so I won't make that claim but the 20540 is fully functional and pristine. The trains including the engine are fully functioning including the engine light and lighted passenger car. The wire to and from the passenger car are intact -- the caboose does not offer
