Fab vintage Liberty 'Ianthe' Art Nouveau print cotton linen pair of curtains with damage. These iconic 'Ianthe' pattern design pair of cotton linen curtains. Art Nouveau design ,originally designed in 1902's as a wall paper border by French designer R.Beauclair. Designed as a fabric by Liberty in 1967.A pattern print that is associated greatly with Liberty.Today the store use this design throughout their goods,on leather accessories,stationary,fashion clothing,and interiors. In colours of muddy olive green,terrocotta,chocolate brown ,toffee,tangerine and pale peach,againat a pale stone background My many photographs represent the correct colours.In natural daylght and flash photography! A pair of cotton linen fabric curtain .Each curtain measures width 45" inches/ 115 cms - 38" inches/ 97cms length approx.Not including both hems. Still with original curtain tape. Excellent for use in it's original state of for furnshing a chair,cushion etc. On the selvege is Liberty of London - exclusive design - made in England. In good condition,apart from two tears along the length of one cutain at the edge each tear measure 5 1/2 inches in length .On the other curtain on the outer edge length are two small hole in length 2 x 1 inch.(I HAVE TRIED TO SHOWN HOLES IN PIC 1 & 5,WITH GREEN PENCIL.
