This is a vintage pedestal ash tray lighter. It sits in the middle of the ash tray and plugs into a wall outlet. The button on the top depresses to turn on the heat. It has the original gold silk cord and bakelite plug. The cord is worn in 2 places and the face needs a minor amount of cleaning otherwise it is in good condition. I have not plugged it in. This is a rare find if you are looking for the center lighter in a standing ash tray to complete a collection.
